Working Group 1 – Detector Simulation, Algorithms and software tools

Even though each project has its own peculiarity, some common software tools can be prepared and shared among the community. This Working Group aims to create a pool of experts in the different software tools described below, which can help in the core development of the different tools and can assist newcomers from the particular project to develop the detector-specific part. A consistent software framework requires sustained support from a team that is co-led by two software coordinators.
